A very rare Hard Times Token from 1835, issued by N. Starbuck & Son of Troy, New York. These tokens are highly collectible, and this example is especially unique with a prominent die crack running down the right side — a striking feature for token enthusiasts.
 
This piece has been in my collection for years, and in researching recent sales, I’ve only seen one other example come to market in the past year.
